Tour Details

There are two different routes to climb Mount Agung. At the time of booking, you can choose the route that best suits your experience level. Both options include hotel pickup between 8 and 11 pm, return transfer, an exclusive English-speaking guide, and breakfast with tea or coffee.

Pasar Agung Temple route (8 hours)

This route is ideal for beginners. We'll start at Pasar Agung Temple and ascend to an altitude of 9,403 feet (2,866 m), stopping for breakfast. The Pasar Agung trail concludes approximately 330 feet (100 m) below the peak but offers impressive views. After enjoying the scenery, we'll return to the base.

Besakih Temple route (16 hours)

The Besakih Temple route is more challenging, leading to the summit of Mount Agung at 9,842 feet (3,000 m). This trek crosses the dense jungle and includes sections requiring hand assistance. We'll ascend to the peak via a rocky pass, taking in the views of Bali. Upon reaching the summit after sunrise, we'll enjoy a breakfast before returning to the base.

Hotel pickup and drop-off services are included for those staying in Nusa Dua, Kuta, Seminyak, Canggu, Sanur, Ubud, Gianyar, and Sidemen.
