Tour Details

There are two different routes to climb Mount Agung. At booking, you can choose the route based on your experience level. Both options include hotel pickup between 8 and 11 pm, return transfer, an exclusive English-speaking guide, and breakfast with tea or coffee.

Pasar Agung Temple route (8 hours)

This route is ideal for beginners. We will start at Pasar Agung Temple and reach an altitude of 9,403 feet (2,866 m), stopping for breakfast along the way. The trail stops about 330 feet (100 m) below the peak, providing impressive views. After enjoying the scenery, we will return to the base.

Besakih Temple route (16 hours)

This route is the most challenging. You will reach the summit of Mount Agung at 9,842 feet (3,000 m) to witness a beautiful sunrise. The ascent involves crossing dense jungle and using hands to navigate some sections. After sunrise, we will enjoy a breakfast at the peak before returning to the base.
