Mount Bromo + Ijen Tour 3 Day Private Tour

On this 3-day private tour to Mount Bromo and Ijen, we will explore the active volcanoes of Java and witness impressive landscapes.

Tour Details

Day 1: Bali - Ketapang

We will pick you up at your hotel in Bali and travel to the ferry port for a ride to Ketapang in Surabaya. Upon arrival, we will transfer you to your hotel in Ketapang, where you can spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Ijen - Mount Bromo

We will pick you up at 12 am from the hotel and drive to Paltuding visitor center in an off-road vehicle. We will hike to the craters and volcanoes of Ijen. Although the unique blue lava is not visible for safety reasons, we will provide details about it. After returning to Paltuding, we will take a jeep to the hotel in Ketapang.

After breakfast, we will drive for 7 hours to Bromo, stopping for lunch along the way.

Day 3: Mount Bromo - Surabaya or Yogyakarta

On the last day, we will depart early to Penanjakan for a sunrise view over the Tengger caldera. A peaceful horseback ride on Mount Bromo will also be included. After breakfast, we will take you to your chosen endpoint.

Surabaya Airport: Recommended flight departure from 2:30 pm onwards.Hotel in Yogyakarta: We will take you to Surabaya train station for your connection to Yogyakarta.

Important Info

To climb the Ijen volcanoes, a medical statement certifying good health is required. This certificate must be obtained in Indonesia, and we will assist you on the first day. It costs 50000IDR per person, payable in cash at the clinic.
