On this 3-day tour to Mount Bromo and Ijen, participants will explore the active volcanoes of Java.

Mount Bromo + Ijen Tour 3 Day Tour

Day 1: Bali - Ketapang

Participants will be picked up at their hotel in Bali and taken to the port for a ferry to Ketapang in Surabaya. After arriving, there will be a transfer to the hotel in Ketapang with the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Ijen - Mount Bromo

The second day begins at 12 am, with a pickup from the hotel to drive to the Paltuding visitor center. An off-road vehicle will take participants to the hiking route leading to the craters and volcanoes of Ijen. After exploring and taking pictures of the landscapes, a return will be made to Paltuding for the jeep ride back to the hotel in Ketapang.

After breakfast, a seven-hour drive to Bromo will commence, with a lunch stop included.

Day 3: Mount Bromo - Surabaya or Yogyakarta

On the final day, participants will meet early at the hotel for an SUV ride to Penanjakan to view the sunrise over the Tengger caldera. The morning includes a horseback ride on Mount Bromo. Afterward, a jeep will return participants to the hotel, followed by breakfast before departure to the station or airport.

Endpoint

Participants can choose their endpoint during booking:

Surabaya Airport: Recommended return flight from 2:30 pm onwards.Hotel in Yogyakarta: Transfer to train station in Surabaya for onward travel to Yogyakarta.

Important

A medical statement certifying good health is required for climbing the Ijen volcanoes. This certificate must be obtained in Indonesia on the first day, costing 50000IDR per person, payable in cash at the clinic.
