Traditional dance, lush rice terraces, exotic jungle scenery, and beautiful temples define this private guided tour that offers a deep dive into the daily life and culture of Bali.

Tour Details

Begin your cultural journey through Bali after hotel pickup at the designated time. You will travel from Batubulan to Kintamani, exploring the island's diverse facets of life and culture.

Your adventure commences in the village of Batubulan, where you will witness a performance of the renowned Barong and Kris dance. This classical 12th-century narrative showcases the ongoing struggle between good and evil, encapsulating the spirituality and artistic expression of Balinese culture. The vibrant costumes worn by the dancers will also be a sight to behold.

Next, immerse yourself in the daily life of a small Balinese village by visiting a typical home in Singapadu. Following this, your journey continues to Bedulu, where you'll explore Goa Gajah, known as the Elephant Cave. This temple, dating back to the 9th century, is a key pilgrimage site in Bali, notable for its blend of Hindu and Buddhist religious symbols.

Along the way, you will enjoy Bali's enchanting tropical landscapes. A highlight of the tour is the opportunity to see the remarkable sloping rice terraces in Tegalalang. These historic paddy fields, which date back to the 9th century, exhibit an ingenious sustainable water management system.

In Sebatu, a visit to Pura Tirta Empul, a water temple beside a sacred spring, allows observation of Balinese Hindus bathing in these holy waters, believed to possess healing properties.

Your tour concludes with a scenic drive past expansive coffee and mandarin orange plantations as you reach Kintamani, situated over 4,500 ft (1,400 m) above sea level. Here, you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Mount Batur, an active volcano, alongside the stunning Lake Batur nestled within its caldera.

After a fulfilling day exploring the wonders of Bali, you will be dropped off at your hotel, concluding a 9-hour immersive experience.
