Explore the past of one of Peru's most historic cities with this complete tour of Tacna – you won't miss a thing!

Complete Tacna Tour

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Tacna at 9 am to start this complete tour focused on the most important events in the history of Peru.

The first segment includes the Municipal Theater, a former field hospital; the Casa de la Jurídica, where the surrender to Peru was signed by Chile; and the residence of independence leader Francisco Antonio de Zela.

Next, visit Campo de la Alianza, the battleground of the Peruvian and Chilean armies, along with the Museum of Arms, which showcases battle artifacts, and the cemetery.

After this, we will have a panoramic tour of Tacna's main monuments, including the cathedral, the fountain of the Greek Gods, and the Parabolic Arch, dedicated to the heroes of the War of the Pacific.

During the panoramic tour, we will pass by Bolognesi Avenue, the Botanical Garden, and the commercial area before heading to the countryside of Tacna for a tasting at a pisco distillery.

After a snack of pastel de choclo at a family ranch, we will visit the Miculla petroglyphs to explore their meanings.

Following this, we will cross the suspension bridge of Miculla to the thermal baths of Calientes, where you will have time for a soak in the natural pools.

We will conclude the tour with a drop-off at your hotel at 5 pm.
