Panina Falls Day Trip

At 8 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Tacna and board a bus to Panina Falls, one of the region's major attractions.

Along the way, we will make different stops before arriving at the waterfalls. First, we will visit the Church of the Lord of the Burnt Feet of Locumba to learn about the tradition behind this sacred image, venerated every September 14.

Next, we will stop at Mirave to discover the rock art figures in its main square. We will also visit the old "La Haciendita" winery, known for its exquisite wines used in church services during colonial times.

Continuing towards Ilabaya, we will see traditional adobe houses, the church, and the main square. Our next stop will be the small village of Cambaya, set in a scenic location surrounded by hills and mountains.

From there, we will take a 30-minute walk to the main attraction, the Panina Falls. We will spend an hour near the waterfalls, appreciating the Andean natural beauty and the 70-meter waterfall crashing into the pool below. You will have free time to enjoy the area and swim in the natural pool before returning to Tacna, with drop-off at your hotel by 5:30 pm.
