Valley of Geysers Excursion

Your adventure begins when we collect you from your accommodation in Tacna at 5 am. This early departure promises a rewarding experience as we set off towards a significant geothermal hotspot in Peru.

As we travel to the Valley of Geysers, nestled within the basin of the Caliente River, we will pass through the Candarave district and encounter lagoons where temperatures soar above 176°F (80°C).

Upon our arrival, we will head to the thermal baths of the Valley of Geysers, where you can unwind in its natural pools. The waters here are heated by subterranean thermal activity and rich in minerals, providing therapeutic benefits that enhance your overall well-being.

After you have spent time soaking in the therapeutic baths, our exploration continues with a journey across the slopes of the Vucamani volcano. Here, you will witness charming villages, expansive queñual forests, and an extraordinary volcanic landscape that feels otherworldly.

To conclude this wonderful experience, we will pause for a delightful lunch, utilizing the geothermal energy unique to the region.

We will then make our way back to Tacna, ensuring you are dropped off at your hotel by around 6:30 pm.
