Zodiac Whale Watching Adventure

This exhilarating boat excursion begins at Tadoussac Harbor, where we embark aboard a modern zodiac. Designed for a maximum of 24 passengers, this speedboat will guide us to prime locations where we can observe the impressive whales that make their home at the junction of the Saguenay and St. Lawrence Rivers, all while maintaining a safe distance.

As we navigate the waters, we’ll uncover the breathtaking landscapes of the two majestic rivers. Located in the province of Quebec, the Saguenay-St.-Laurent Marine National Park is a noted sanctuary famed for its high population of whales.

Throughout our voyage, a naturalist guide will accompany us, enriching our understanding of the various whale species found in Canada. We will ensure that we respect these magnificent creatures and their natural environments, minimizing our impact on their habitat.

From the comfort of the zodiac, you’ll have ample opportunity to capture stunning photographs of the whales while immersing yourself in the surrounding natural beauty.

After approximately 2 to 2.5 hours on the water, based on the selected option, we will head back to the harbor to conclude our Zodiac adventure.

Ticket Pickup Location

To collect your zodiac tickets, please arrive one hour prior to departure at 177 rue des Pionniers in Tadoussac. After acquiring your tickets, you’ll need to travel either by car or on foot, as it's a 20-minute walk, to the port of Tadoussac. Ensure you arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled zodiac departure.

Available Options and Schedule

During the booking process, you can select from the following options:

2-hour tour: Operating from May 28 to September 18 at 8 am and 4:30 pm.2-hour 30-minute tour: Available from May 14 to October 23 at 10:15 am and 1:30 pm.

The shores of Tadoussac rank among the prime locations in Canada for spotting not only whales but also dolphins and various marine creatures. Nonetheless, nature is inherently unpredictable. The chances of encountering different species may vary based on several factors, including the day’s weather and the specific breeding seasons of various animals.
