After picking you up at the Zhongxiao Xinsheng metro station, we'll head east towards the Pingxi district, an area rich in natural resources. We'll arrive, just under an hour later, in the city of Shifen. Here we'll have the opportunity to launch Chinese lanterns and see how our wishes fly up to the sky. These lanterns, originally used in ancient China as a light source, now symbolize joy and good fortune.

Once we launch the lanterns, we'll take a walk through Shifen's historic centre. The Branch Branch railway line runs through the heart of the city, lined with traditional houses on each side of the tracks.

Our last stop will be the impressive Shifen waterfall, a notable natural site often referred to as "The Niagara Falls of Taiwan." You'll have the opportunity to watch the water flow into a natural pool, and you might even catch a glimpse of the rainbow that forms around it.

You'll also enjoy the different colours that illuminate this unique location before returning to the starting point in Taipei.
