On this private tour of Jiufen and Yehliu Park, you'll explore locations that inspired Spirited Away and remarkable geological formations while learning about an ancient Japanese gold mine.

Description

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Taipei and drive to the north coast of Taiwan by minibus.

We will first visit Yehliu, a geological park known for its rock formations shaped by centuries of sea erosion. Notable formations include the "Dragon's Head" and "Queen's Shoe."

Next, we will explore the Shifen Waterfall, often referred to as the Little Niagara of Taiwan. This waterfall is 20 meters (65 feet) high and 40 meters (131 feet) wide, offering a spectacular sight.

Our journey will continue to the town of Jiufen, set in the mountains and providing views of the Pacific coast. Jiufen features a bustling market where you can try local delicacies, such as pineapple candy and meat and rice dumplings.

In Jiufen, you'll visit the workshops of local artisans and explore the traditional tea houses within the labyrinth of alleys with red lanterns. This village's ambiance may remind Studio Ghibli fans of a scene from Spirited Away.

After a total of 8 hours of sightseeing, we will return you to your hotel in Taipei.
