Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your accommodation in Taipei as we head towards the northern coast of Taiwan in a comfortable minibus.



Upon arrival, our first stop will be at Yehliu, a geological park celebrated for its remarkable rock formations, shaped by relentless sea erosion over the years. Here, you can marvel at sculptures with intriguing names like "Dragon's Head" and "Queen's Shoe". Picture the fantastic shapes and sizes these natural wonders take!



Next, we will journey into the mountains to visit the Shifen Waterfall, often referred to as the Little Niagara of Taiwan. Standing at 20 meters (65 feet) high and spanning 40 meters (131 feet) wide, this magnificent cascade is sure to leave you mesmerized with its breathtaking views.



Our travels then lead us to the picturesque town of Jiufen, which is beautifully situated on a mountainside and offers stunning vistas of the Pacific coast. The vibrant market along its main street is a haven for food lovers, featuring a variety of local treats. Be sure to sample pineapple candy or enjoy a savory meat and rice dumpling—there's something for everyone!



As you explore Jiufen, you will have the opportunity to visit the craft workshops of local artisans and wander through the traditional tea houses nestled in the maze of alleys adorned with red lanterns. For fans of Studio Ghibli, this enchanting village will evoke feelings akin to those felt watching a Hayao Miyazaki film, as it served as an inspiration for the beloved Spirited Away.
