Day 1: Taipei - Sun & Moon Lake

Your journey commences with a pick-up from your hotel in Taipei between 7:30 and 8:30 am. Embark on this exciting 5-day journey and board a bus to the enchanting Sun and Moon Lake, approximately a three-hour drive from the city.

Upon arrival, enjoy a scenic route around the lake, making several stops to take in the breathtaking views. Highlights include the renowned Wenwu Temple, the Ci'en pagoda, and a visit to the Thao tribe village. Conclude the day at your accommodation for a well-deserved rest.

Day 2: Sun & Moon Lake - Kaohsiung

Following a hearty breakfast, we will depart for Tainan, Taiwan's oldest city, celebrated for its rich architectural heritage. Our exploration begins at Fort Zeelandia, built by the Dutch East India Company during its governance.

Next, wander through Anping Old Street, where local culinary delights await. After lunch, we’ll journey to Kaohsiung, the largest city in southern Taiwan, where we will visit the impressive Fo Guang Shan Monastery.

The day will conclude as you check in to your Kaohsiung hotel.

Day 3: Kaohsiung - Kenting - Taitung

After a delightful breakfast, we set off towards Kenting National Park, a place where lush rainforests, stunning beaches, and mountains converge!

Following our exploration of Kenting's natural beauty, we will break for lunch and then drive onward to Taitung, where you can unwind for the night.

Day 4: Taitung - East Coast - Hualien

After breakfast, immerse yourself in the wonders of the east coast, often referred to as 'Taiwan's last wilderness'. This region offers a rich tapestry of flora, fauna, fascinating caves, volcanic forms, and breathtaking coastal views, perfect for capturing memorable snapshots!

The tour includes visits to Xiaoyeliu, Sansiantai, and Shitiping. It promises to be an action-packed day before settling into your accommodation for the night.

Day 5: Hualien - Taroko - Taipei

After breakfast at your hotel, we will visit the King Car Whisky Distillery, famed for its unique flavors derived from the pristine spring waters of the Central and Xueshan mountain ranges. Participate in a guided tour to understand the whisky-making process and learn to appreciate its aromas and textures.

Following this, we will explore the National Traditional Arts Centre, a cultural park showcasing various Taiwanese architectural styles. Enjoy an array of exhibits and workshops, with performances like puppet shows and pottery demonstrations ensuring there’s something for everyone.

The day will conclude with our return to Taipei, where you will be dropped off at your hotel by 7 pm, marking the end of this enriching tour.
