On this tour, you'll explore one of the most beautiful natural areas in Estonia, admiring the stunning landscapes of Lahemaa and the nearby villages.
Tour Details
We'll begin our journey at the Tallinn Tourist Information Office, located in the historic heart of Estonia's capital.
Our road trip lasts about an hour, passing through the lush green landscapes surrounding the Jägala waterfall. Depending on the season, our first stop will either be Sagadi or Palmse Manor, which also houses the Forest Museum. At both locations, you’ll learn about the local wildlife and plants of Lahemaa National Park.
Next, we’ll visit the fishing village of Altja or Käsmu, also depending on the time of year. Both villages are situated on Lahemaa's eastern coast and offer insights into local life, with opportunities to explore the surrounding forests and marshes.
Our final stop will be a walk through the Viru Bog, where a boardwalk leads us to an observation tower. From there, you'll enjoy a view of how the dense vegetation contrasts with the clear waters of the pools.
After our walk, we’ll head back to Tallinn, returning after about seven hours.
