Tour Details
We will commence our adventure at the Tallinn Tourist Information Office, located in the historical center of Estonia's capital.
During our scenic drive lasting approximately one hour, we will traverse the verdant landscapes surrounding the Jägala waterfall. Our first stop will vary with the seasons; we could visit either Sagadi or Palmse Manor, both part of an extensive estate that is also home to the Forest Museum. Here, you will gain insights into the flora and fauna found in Lahemaa National Park.
Following this, we’ll proceed to the fishing village of Altja or Käsmu, depending on the time of visit. These quaint villages, perched along Lahemaa's eastern shore, provide a fascinating glimpse into local life, alongside opportunities to wander through the adjacent forests and marshlands.
Our excursion will conclude with an enchanting stroll through the Viru Bog, where a boardwalk takes us to a lookout tower. From this vantage point, you'll enjoy breathtaking views as the thick vegetation meets the pristine waters of the pools below.
Upon completion of our exploration, we will make our way back to Tallinn, with the entire experience totaling around seven hours.
