This tour invites you to discover one of Estonia's most stunning natural environments, featuring the exquisite landscapes of Lahemaa and its surrounding villages.
Tour Overview
Our adventure begins at the Tallinn Tourist Information Office, located in the central area of Tallinn, rich in history.
Embarking on a scenic drive lasting approximately one hour, we will traverse through the verdant scenery near the Jägala waterfall. Depending on the season, our initial destination will be either Sagadi or Palmse Manor, both of which are part of a larger estate that includes the Forest Museum. Here, you will gain insights into the flora and fauna that thrive within Lahemaa National Park.
Following that, we will venture to the charming fishing village of Altja or Käsmu, subject to the season's influence. Positioned on lahemaa's eastern shoreline, these villages provide a unique perspective on local traditions, with options to wander through nearby woods and wetlands.
Our adventure culminates in a fascinating stroll through the Viru Bog, where a boardwalk guides us to an observation tower. This vantage point offers a breathtaking view of the lush greenery contrasting with the serene waters of the bog's ponds.
After our exploration, we will conclude our journey with a return trip to Tallinn, completing the experience in approximately seven hours.
