On this tour, you'll explore one of the natural areas in Estonia, admiring the landscapes of Lahemaa and nearby villages.
Tour Details
We'll begin our journey at the Tallinn Tourist Information Office, located in the historic center of Estonia's capital.
Our road trip lasts about an hour, passing through the landscapes surrounding the Jägala waterfall. Depending on the season, our first stop will be either Sagadi or Palmse Manor, which includes the Forest Museum. At these locations, you’ll learn about local wildlife and plants of Lahemaa National Park.
Next, we’ll visit the fishing village of Altja or Käsmu, depending on the time of year. Both villages, on Lahemaa's eastern coast, present local life and opportunities to explore surrounding forests and marshes.
Our final stop will be a walk through the Viru Bog, where a boardwalk leads to an observation tower. From there, you'll view the contrast of dense vegetation and clear waters of the pools.
After our walk, we’ll return to Tallinn, taking about seven hours in total.
