On this tour, you'll explore one of the most beautiful natural areas in Estonia, admiring the landscapes of Lahemaa and nearby villages.
Tour Details
We'll begin our journey at the Tallinn Tourist Information Office, located in the historic heart of Estonia's capital.
Our road trip lasts about an hour, passing through the lush landscapes surrounding the Jägala waterfall. Our first stop will either be Sagadi or Palmse Manor, which is part of a complex that houses the Forest Museum. At both locations, you’ll learn about the local wildlife and plants of Lahemaa National Park.
Next, we’ll visit either the fishing village of Altja or Käsmu, dependent on the time of year. Both villages on Lahemaa's eastern coast provide insights into local life and opportunities to explore the surrounding forests and marshes.
Our final stop will be a walk through the Viru Bog, where a boardwalk leads to an observation tower offering views of the vegetation contrasting with the clear waters of the pools.
After our walk, we’ll return to Tallinn, concluding the tour after about seven hours.
