On this tour, you'll explore one of the natural areas in Estonia, admiring the landscapes of Lahemaa and nearby villages.
Tour Details
We'll begin our journey at the Tallinn Tourist Information Office, located in the historic center of Estonia's capital.
The road trip lasts about an hour, passing through the landscapes surrounding the Jägala waterfall. Depending on the season, our first stop will be either Sagadi or Palmse Manor, which also includes the Forest Museum. At both locations, you’ll learn about the local wildlife and plants of Lahemaa National Park.
Next, we’ll visit the fishing village of Altja or Käsmu, depending on the time of year. Both villages, located on Lahemaa's eastern coast, provide insight into local life, with opportunities to explore the surrounding forests and marshes.
Our final stop will be a walk through the Viru Bog, where a boardwalk leads to an observation tower offering views of the dense vegetation contrasted with clear waters of the pools.
After the walk, we’ll return to Tallinn, concluding the tour after about seven hours.
