Tour Details

The tour begins with a pickup at the agreed location, starting at Toompea, the upper part of Tallinn's historic centre, a World Heritage Site. Highlights include Toompea Castle, gothic-style towers, and narrow streets.

Participants will walk along two main streets, named Long Leg and Short Leg, and visit Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, built during the Russian Empire's control over Estonia. An overview of the Estonian political system will be provided at the Parliament building.

In the lower part of the city, the tour will proceed to Tallinn City Hall and Northern Europe's oldest pharmacy. The tour also includes Pikk Hermann Tower, where the Estonian national flag is hoisted daily at dawn following the national anthem.

Participants will continue to the Hellemann Tower, part of the old defense wall that connects with the Munkadetagune Tower. Visitors can explore the highest section and enjoy panoramic views of Tallinn.

The 3-hour tour concludes at either the Viru Gate or the Town Hall.
