Explore the Estonian capital and be amazed by its medieval monuments with this private tour of Tallinn. We'll explore the historic centre of the Baltic city.

Tour Details

After picking you up at the agreed place, we'll start our tour by visiting the Toompea: the upper part of Tallinn's historic centre. This area, a World Heritage Site, features Toompea Castle, gothic-style towers, and the narrow streets of the city centre.

We will walk along the two main streets, Long Leg and Short Leg, and see Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, built during Estonia's time under the Russian Empire. We'll also explore the Parliament building to learn about the Estonian political system.

In the lower city, we will visit the Tallinn City Hall and the oldest pharmacy in Northern Europe. We will also pass the Pikk Hermann Tower, known as ‘the big Hermann’, where the Estonian national flag is permanently flown.

Next, we’ll head to the Hellemann Tower, part of the old defence wall nearly 200 metres (656 ft) long. We will have the opportunity to visit its highest point and walk along the walls for views of Tallinn.

We will conclude our 3-hour private tour of Tallinn's Old Town at the Viru Gate or the Town Hall.
