Explore the Estonian capital and be amazed by its medieval monuments with this private tour of Tallinn. We'll explore the historic centre of the Baltic city.

Tour Details

After picking you up at the agreed place, we'll start our tour by visiting the Toompea: the upper part of Tallinn's historic centre. In this World Heritage Site, we'll see Toompea Castle, gothic-style towers, and narrow streets. We'll walk along the two main streets, Long Leg and Short Leg, and visit Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, built during Estonia's time in the Russian Empire. We'll also discuss the Estonian political system near the Parliament building.

In the lower city, we'll visit Tallinn City Hall and the oldest pharmacy in Northern Europe. We'll pass by Pikk Hermann Tower, known as ‘the big Hermann’, where the Estonian national flag is hoisted daily at dawn after the national anthem. Our route continues to the Hellemann Tower, part of the old defense wall that connects with the Munkadetagune Tower. Here, we'll visit its highest part and walk along its walls for views of Tallinn.

We'll conclude our 3-hour private tour of Tallinn's Old Town at the Viru Gate or the Town Hall.
