Amazon Jungle Night Hike
After being picked up from your hotel in Puerto Maldonado at the indicated time, you will be taken to the entrance to the Peruvian Amazon Jungle.
During your night time jungle hike, you will spend three hours exploring trails in the Amazon rainforest. Under moonlight, you will trek through the lush vegetation of the jungle and walk alongside the River Tambopata, making a stop on the riverbank to listen to the ambient sounds.
As you walk along the Tambopata Ecotourism Corridor, you will reach the Tambopata National Reserve. Keep an eye out for night creatures such as snakes, tarantulas, and, with luck, leopards and night monkeys.
At the end of the hike, you will return to your hotel, arriving approximately 2.5 hours after the initial pickup.
