4-day tour

Day 1: Puerto Maldonado - Tambopata

On the first day, we'll pick you up from the airport or bus station in Puerto Maldonado and take you to the starting point for our tour, followed by a two-hour drive into the Amazon Rainforest. We'll reach the Tambopata River and board a boat to the lodge. After settling in and lunch, we will take a walk in the jungle to search for wildlife.

Day 2: Macaw Clay Lick

Early in the morning, we'll travel to El Chuncho, the largest macaw clay lick, via a 1.5-hour boat trip. You'll see wildlife and witness 11 species of macaw at the clay walls. Later, we will visit a botanic garden and return for lunch. In the afternoon, there will be an opportunity for kayaking on the Tambopata River.

Day 3: Monkey Island

We'll begin with a jungle walk to observe ancient trees. After lunch, we will cross the Madre de Dios River to visit Monkey Island, home to various monkey species. At night, we'll search for caimans before returning for dinner.

Day 4: Canopy Walk

On the fourth day, we will explore the Canopy Walk in the morning, enjoying views from 30 metres (100 feet) high. After this, we will return to Puerto Maldonado, concluding the tour at 9:30 am.

5-day tour

The 5-day tour mirrors the first three days of the 4-day tour. On the fourth day, we will hike around Lake Sandoval and explore its waters in a canoe. Day 5 includes the Canopy Walk before heading to Puerto Maldonado.
