4-day tour

Day 1: Puerto Maldonado - Tambopata

On the first day, we will pick you up from Puerto Maldonado and provide an introduction to the itinerary. We'll drive for two hours into the Amazon Rainforest, arriving at the Tambopata River. After settling in at the lodge, you will enjoy lunch, followed by a jungle walk to observe wildlife.

Day 2: Macaw Clay Lick

We will depart early for El Chuncho, the largest macaw clay lick, taking a 1.5-hour boat trip. You will see macaws at the clay walls and visit a botanic garden, followed by lunch at the accommodation. In the afternoon, there will be an opportunity for kayaking in the River Tambopata.

Day 3: Monkey Island

The day begins with a jungle walk showcasing ancient trees, followed by lunch at the accommodation. In the afternoon, we will visit Monkey Island to observe various monkey species and search for caimans at night before returning for dinner.

Day 4: Canopy Walk

Early morning will see us at the Canopy Walk, enjoying views from hanging bridges 30 meters high. After this activity, we will return to Puerto Maldonado, concluding the tour by 9:30 am.

5-day tour

This tour is the same as the 4-day tour for the first three days. On the fourth day, instead of returning, we will hike around Lake Sandoval and explore by canoe. The fifth day consists of the Canopy Walk before heading to Puerto Maldonado.

We will pick you up from the bus station or Puerto Maldonado Airport, with timing based on your flight.
