Trek through the rainforest and explore Lake Sandoval in the Madre de Dios region.

Lake Sandoval Amazon Trek

Pickup from your hotel will occur, followed by a 10-minute drive to the Tambopata National Reserve.

After traveling through the gateway to the Amazon, we will start a 3-kilometer trek through Amazonian flora and fauna, where you may encounter monkeys, reptiles, Ara parrots, and hawks.

Following the trek, we will board a canoe to explore Lake Sandoval, part of the Tambopata National Reserve. From the canoe, we will observe species such as giant river otters and black caimans.

A typical Peruvian lunch will be served at a local restaurant before returning to Puerto Maldonado. The total duration is approximately 8 hours, ending with your drop-off at the hotel.
