Monkey Island Amazon Adventure

After picking you up from your hotel at the scheduled time, we'll head to the Puerto Maldonado jetty to begin our kayaking on the Tambopata River.

We'll paddle down the river searching for freshwater turtles, capybaras, and native birds. There may be opportunities to observe these animals in their environment.

Our next stop is Monkey Island, also known as Rolling Island, an Inka Terra Association project. Here, we will see hundreds of monkeys being reintegrated into their natural habitat after being rescued from the black market.

After this Amazonian adventure, we'll return to Puerto Maldonado, completing the tour after a total of 4 hours together.
