Discover the wild side of Puerto Maldonado on this Amazon Adventure. Go kayaking down the Madre de Dios river, zipline through the rainforest, and observe monkeys in their natural habitat.

Monkey Island Amazon Adventure

Following a hotel pickup at the scheduled time, we will travel to the Puerto Maldonado jetty to begin our kayak journey up the Tambopata River.

We will navigate the river in search of freshwater turtles, capybaras, and native birds. Observations of wildlife are likely.

Next, we will visit Monkey Island, also referred to as Rolling Island, part of an Inka Terra Association project. Here we will observe hundreds of monkeys being reintegrated into their natural habitat after rescue from the black market.

After an engaging day on this Amazonian adventure, we will return to Puerto Maldonado, concluding the tour after 4 hours.
