Sunset River Boat + Capybara Watching

Enjoy an evening watching the sunset over the Amazon Rainforest. Relax on your boat down the Madre de Dios River, admiring nature and wildlife.

River Cruise Details

We will pick you up from your hotel at the scheduled time and head to the Puerto Maldonado jetty. Here, we will board our boat to explore the peaceful side of the Madre de Dios River as night falls.

In the Tambopata National Park, we will witness the changing colors in the sky as the sun sets. We will also look for species such as the spectacled caiman and the capybara, the largest living rodent.

The boat’s motor will be turned off, allowing us to relax and listen to the nocturnal rainforest noises. This is a unique experience.

After this activity, we will return to Puerto Maldonado, with the entire experience lasting around 4 hours.
