Tambopata Photography 8 Day Trip

Day 1

After picking you up at the Puerto Maldonado airport, we'll travel to the banks of Sandoval Lake, where you can photograph various endemic river birds. The trip will end at the lodge in Tambopata, where we will stay for the next few nights with full board.

Day 2

After breakfast, we'll visit the traditional agricultural area of Loero to photograph farms and daily activities of agricultural workers.

Day 3

On the third day, following breakfast, we will head to the chestnut fields for a photo tour to capture unique pictures of the crops.

Day 4

We will descend into the gold mines of Tambopata for an opportunity to document the mining process.

Day 5

After breakfast, we will search for endemic birds in the Corredor Bajo de Tambopata, using viewpoints to spot various animal species.

Day 6

This day will focus on photographing the diverse Amazonian ecosystems in the secondary forest and local agroforestry systems.

Day 7

On the final full day, we will travel to the banks of the Tambopata and Madre de Dios rivers in a canoe to take close-up photos of river birds. We will return to the lodge to pack at the end of the trip.

Day 8

After breakfast, we will return to Puerto Maldonado, dropping you off at the airport 3 hours before your flight.

This tour includes 7 nights' accommodation at an ecolodge in Tambopata, on a full board basis.
