On our Preikestolen Hiking Activity, you'll walk over the Lysefjord and see Norway's most famous rock, Preikestolen or 'Pulpit Rock'. Scenic views and an adventure await!
Preikestolen Hiking Activity
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at the meeting point in Stavanger and drive for 40 minutes to the base of Preikestolen.
Once there, you'll receive directions and begin the ascent to the summit of the Pulpit. The hike will take between 2 and 3 hours with several stops to enjoy the scenery.
Upon reaching the top of Preikestolen, you'll experience spectacular views of the Lysefjord. Following this, we'll hike downhill for about 2 hours to the base, where we'll pause for a light Norwegian snack or you may choose to eat your packed lunch.
Lastly, we will return with a 40-minute drive to the various meeting points in Stavanger, concluding this 7 to 8-hour activity.
