The Stavanger tourist bus makes 10 stops at the main attractions around the city. Throughout the journey, you'll enjoy English-language audio commentary on the landmarks that you can see from the bus.

Some of the most interesting stops are Stavanger Cathedral, the Petroleum Museum, the Old Town, and the Cruise Terminal.

How it Works

The ticket is valid for 24 consecutive hours from when it's used for the first time. For example, if it's activated on Monday at 3 pm, it'll be valid until Tuesday at 3 pm.

During this time you can hop on and off the buses as many times as you want at any of the designated stops, allowing you to explore the 2008 European Capital of Culture at your own pace.

Important Information

When you make the reservation, you'll be asked to specify an initiation date. You'll then have 3 months from that date in which to activate your pass. Upon reservation, a voucher will be sent by email which must be presented upon accessing the bus for the first time.

Times and Frequency

The sightseeing bus operates between 10 am and 4 pm, with departures every 30 minutes. The complete journey lasts 50 minutes.
