8-Day Tour of Morocco from Tangier

Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen

Your chauffeur will collect you from the airport or Port of Tangier, heading to Chefchaouen.

The day concludes with a visit to the historic center of Chefchaouen and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez

Post breakfast, journey to the archaeological site of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. visit Meknes and then proceed to Fez for the night.

Day 3: Fez

Meet a local English-speaking guide for a walking tour of Fez el-Bali. Explore significant landmarks like the Karaouine Mosque, before returning to your hotel.

Day 4: Fez – Midelt – Merzouga

Travel through the cedar woods of central Morocco, observing Berber settlements. After learning about Berber tribes, ride camels in the Merzouga Desert and spend the night in a desert camp.

Day 5: Merzouga – Todgha Gorge – Ouarzazate

Witness a sunrise over the dunes and visit the Todgha Gorge. End the day in Ouarzazate for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Ouarzazate – Ait-Ben-Haddou – Marrakech

Leave Ouarzazate early and explore Ait-Ben-Haddou before heading to Marrakech.

Day 7: Marrakech

Join a guided walking tour of the medina of Marrakech, exploring Bahia Palace and Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, then return to your hotel for the night.

Day 8: Marrakech Airport

On the final day, after breakfast, you will be dropped off at the airport.

All accommodations are double occupancy with optional triple or family rooms. Standard room categories have communal showers while luxury camps offer private bathrooms for an additional fee.

Meknes is currently closed for renovation. The Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate is also closed but photography from outside is permitted.
