Tour Details

At the scheduled time, we will meet at the Port Mosque to start the guided tour. We will first enter the Medina through one of its traditional gates, where you'll experience the lively atmosphere of its squares.

Next, we will head to the Kasbah, one of the most iconic areas in Tangier. Here, the main square and the Bab Al Bahr viewpoint provide a stunning view of the Strait, alongside historic walls reminiscent of the old Sultan's palace.

We will then proceed to the heart of the Medina, passing through areas rich in daily life and folk art, including the Kasbah Mosque and Bab El Aassa, a well-known fortress gate.

The tour continues with a visit to key locations in bohemian Tangier, including Café Baba and the former residence of Barbara Hutton, significant to the city's cosmopolitan history.

We will explore the Spice Market, followed by a stop at the lively Grand Socco. After visiting the central market and the old Jewish quarter, the tour will take us to a busy street in the Medina, leading to the Petit Socco, a local favorite square.

At the end of this three-hour tour, we will conclude near the Grand Mosque of Tangier, at the Terrasse Borj al-Hajouir.
