Tangier Guided Tour

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Lalla Abla Mosque to begin this guided tour of Tangier. We will start by admiring the façade of the mosque and discussing its history and significance. Our first stop will be the wall of the Kasbah, where we will explore its historical and cultural context.

Next, we will visit the Hôtel Continental and its museum, located in Tangier's Medina. This building, dating back to the end of the 19th century, showcases both Muslim and European architectural styles. Notably, scenes from El tiempo entre costuras were filmed here.

We will then proceed to the Small Souk, a lively square steeped in history. Following this, we'll explore the old Spanish residential area and visit the Al-Batuta Cemetery, which provides a unique perspective on Tangier's history.

As we continue, we will traverse the French part of the city to see the French Consulate and the renowned Grand Café de Paris. Our tour will conclude with a visit to Mendoubia Park and the Notre Dame Cathedral.

The tour will last a total of 3 hours, ending with goodbyes at the Terrasse Borj al-Hajoui viewpoint.
