Tangier to Marrakech 7-Day Trip + Merzouga Desert Visit

Embark on an unforgettable 7-day trip from Tangier to Marrakech! We'll visit Chefchaouen, Volubilis, Meknes, Fez, and the fascinating dunes in the desert of Merzouga.

Tour Details

Day 1: Tangier - Chefchaouen

Pickup from Tangier Airport or your hotel. Travel to Chefchaouen with free time for lunch and exploration or an optional guided tour. Overnight in a hotel in Chefchaouen.

Day 2: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fez

Depart Chefchaouen after breakfast. Visit Volubilis for 1 hour and 30 minutes, then proceed to Meknes with 2 hours free to explore its sites. Continue to Fez for overnight accommodation.

Day 3: Fez

Enjoy a guided tour of Fez visiting major attractions. Afternoon free for independent exploration. Overnight at your accommodation.

Day 4: Fez - Ziz Valley - Merzouga Desert

Travel south toward Ifrane and through cedar forests of the Atlas Mountains. Free time in Midelt before reaching Merzouga Desert. Camel ride to camp for dinner and Berber music.

Day 5: Merzouga Desert

Experience sunrise and then explore the Sahara Desert via camel, vehicle, or on foot. Option to visit a nomadic village and enjoy a traditional lunch. Second night at the camp.

Day 6: Merzouga Desert - Todgha Gorge - Dades Valley

Depart Merzouga for Todgha Gorge. Lunch and exploration in the area before continuing to Dades Valley for the night.

Day 7: Dades Valley - Marrakech

Travel to Ouarzazate and visit the studios. Optional guided tour of Aït Benhaddou. Arrive in Marrakech around 12 pm for drop-off.

Guides

The guide will not accompany you during the entire tour; a driver will be provided. You will meet guides in Fez, Marrakech, Ouarzazate, and Merzouga.

Schedules & Flights

For the outbound flight to Tangier, pickup is at 10 am, so your arrival flight cannot be later than 8 am. Booking a hotel in Tangier the night before is recommended.

On the last day, we will arrive in Marrakech around 12 pm. If flying out of Marrakech Airport on the last day, do not book a flight before 3 pm.
