Tangier to Marrakech 7-Day Trip + Merzouga Desert Visit

Embark on an unforgettable 7-day trip from Tangier to Marrakech! We'll visit Chefchaouen, Volubilis, Meknes, Fez, and the fascinating dunes in the desert of Merzouga.

Tour Details

Day 1: Tangier - Chefchaouen

We'll start this adventure by picking you up from Tangier Airport or your hotel. We'll make our way directly to the charming blue city of Chefchaouen. Upon arrival, you'll have free time to explore or sign up for a guided tour of Chefchaouen. The day ends in a hotel in Chefchaouen.

Day 2: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fez

After breakfast, we'll leave Chefchaouen for Volubilis, where you’ll have 1 hour and 30 minutes to visit the archaeological site. We will then head to Meknes, where you’ll have two hours to explore the Bab El-Mansour gateway and other attractions. The day concludes in Fez with accommodation in a riad.

Day 3: Fez

After breakfast, we'll have a guided tour of Fez, including visits to the Royal Palace, the Mellah, and the Medina, a World Heritage Site. The afternoon is free for further exploration and local cuisine.

Day 4: Fez - Ziz Valley - Merzouga Desert

We’ll leave Fez after breakfast and travel to Ifrane, then through cedar forests, stopping in Midelt for lunch. We’ll drive through the Tizi n'Tichka pass to reach the Merzouga Desert, where you'll experience a camel ride to the camp, enjoy traditional music, and have dinner under the stars.

Day 5: Merzouga Desert

We’ll witness a sunrise over the dunes and enjoy a hearty breakfast. You can explore the desert through multiple activities, including a visit to a nomadic village. An optional traditional lunch is available.

Day 6: Merzouga Desert - Todgha Gorge - Dades Valley

After breakfast, we'll travel to Todgha Gorge for lunch and exploration, followed by a visit to the picturesque Dades Valley. We'll conclude day six with accommodation in Dades Valley.

Day 7: Dades Valley - Marrakech

After breakfast, we head towards Ouarzazate to visit studios. You can join an optional guided tour of Aït Benhaddou. We’ll then drive along the Tizi n'Tichka pass and arrive in Marrakech around noon, where we can drop you off at your hotel or the airport.

Guides

Please note that you will be accompanied by a driver. Guides will meet you in Fez, Marrakech, Ouarzazate, and Merzouga desert.

Schedules & Flights

For your outbound flight to Tangier, please arrive by 8 am for a pickup at 10 am. We recommend booking a hotel in Tangier the night before the tour. On the last day, we arrive in Marrakech around noon. Flights from Marrakech Airport should be booked after 3 pm.
