Tangier to Marrakech 7-Day Trip + Merzouga Desert Visit

Embark on an unforgettable 7-day trip from Tangier to Marrakech, visiting Chefchaouen, Volubilis, Meknes, Fez and the dunes in the desert of Merzouga.

Tour Details

Day 1: Tangier - Chefchaouen

Pickup from Tangier Airport or your hotel. Travel to Chefchaouen, with free time to explore or join a guided tour. Overnight in Chefchaouen.

Day 2: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fez

After breakfast, visit Volubilis, with 1 hour and 30 minutes to explore the archaeological site. Continue to Meknes for 2 hours to see landmarks such as Bab El-Mansour. Depart for Fez, staying in a riad.

Day 3: Fez

Guided tour of Fez covering the Royal Palace, the Mellah, and the Medina. Afternoon free for further exploration and local cuisine. Overnight in Fez.

Day 4: Fez - Ziz Valley - Merzouga Desert

Depart for Ifrane, continue through the Atlas Mountains to Midelt. Travel along Ziz Valley and arrive at Merzouga Desert, including a camel ride to the desert camp for dinner and traditional music.

Day 5: Merzouga Desert

Spend the day in the Sahara, with options for camel riding or off-roading. Visit a nomadic village and enjoy a lunch option. Another night in the desert camp.

Day 6: Merzouga Desert - Todgha Gorge - Dades Valley

Travel to Todgha Gorge for lunch and exploration. Continue to Dades Valley for accommodation.

Day 7: Dades Valley - Marrakech

Travel towards Ouarzazate and optional guided tour of Aït Benhaddou. Arrival in Marrakech around 12 pm for drop-off at your hotel or airport.

Schedules & Flights

For the outbound flight to Tangier, pickup is at 10 am; arrival must be before 8 am. Booking a hotel in Tangier the night before is recommended. On the last day, arrival in Marrakech is around 12 pm; flights should not be before 3 pm.
