Embark on a day trip from Taormina to explore Lipari and Vulcano, featuring panoramic views of the Aeolian Islands archipelago.

Lipari + Vulcano Day Trip

Meet at the Taormina bus station to board a bus to Milazzo Port. From there, we'll take a boat to start our trip to Lipari and Vulcano.

The boat ride lasts about 1 hour, offering views of the Aeolian Islands, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000.

Upon arriving in Lipari, you'll have 2 hours of free time to explore. Recommended activities include a stroll through the old town, visiting the cathedral, and the Archeological Museum, which has artifacts over 5,000 years old. Lipari is the most populated island in the volcanic archipelago.

Next, we will head to Vulcano, composed of four volcanoes, one of which is active. You will have another 2 hours of free time to enjoy the black sand beaches and local cuisine.

Finally, we'll return to the boat to Milazzo Port, where the bus will take you back to the starting point, approximately 12 hours after departure.
