At your chosen time, we'll meet in the Piazzetta Buciuni, near Porta Catania, a 15th-century fortress. From here, we will begin a private tour of Taormina, discovering iconic monuments of the town.

The first stop will be the Ancient Theater, an open-air venue and the second largest Greek theater in Sicily after Syracuse. You will enjoy views of Taormina, the Ionian Sea, and Mount Etna.

Next, you'll see the Naumachia, a red brick building featuring eighteen large niches and smaller rectangular niches.

We will also visit the Odeon Theater, built in the 2nd century AD under Caesar Augustus Octavian. Your guide will explain the history and characteristics of this Roman theater.

As we stroll through the historic center, you'll see the 14th-century Palazzo Duchi di Santo Stefano and the Palazzo Corvaja, both in Gothic style, as well as the Baroque facade of the Church of St. Joseph and the Taormina Cathedral, built in the 1400s on the remains of a medieval temple.
