Syracuse and Ortigia Day Trip

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Taormina bus station and board a vehicle to Syracuse. The journey will take about an hour and a half.

The first visit will be to the Neapolis Archaeological Park, where we will explore the remains of Greek civilization. Highlights include a Greek theatre and a Roman amphitheatre, alongside ruins of altars or temples and ancient latomias.

Afterward, we will proceed to Ortigia, the old town of Syracuse, recognized for its architectural and historical heritage as a World Heritage Site.

While walking around Ortigia, you will see the ruins of the Temple of Apollo from the 6th century BC, the Cathedral, and the Font of Arethusa, among other sites. You will have an hour and a half of free time to enjoy local food.
