Meet at the Taormina bus station to begin the trip. The first stop is Agrigento at the Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. Key landmarks include the Temple of Juno, Temple of Concordia, remains of a paleochristian necropolis, and the Temple of Heracles. The ruins of the Temple of Zeus and the Temples of Castor and Pollux will also be explored. An hour of free time will be given for lunch at local restaurants.

After lunch, continue to Piazza Armerina to visit the Roman Villa of Casale, discovered by Gino Vinicio Gentili in the 1950s. The villa showcases vibrant mosaics, including a notable depiction of women's sports in ancient times with ten women engaging in disc throwing and lifting weights.
