Alto Shilcayo Hike

After picking you up from your hotel in Tarapoto at the designated time, we will travel by minibus for 30 minutes to Alto Shilcayo.

Upon arrival, we will embark on a 2-hour hike through the landscapes and natural pools of the area. During the tour, we will observe Alto Shilcayo's flora and fauna, known for its diverse amphibians, birds, and medicinal plants.

As we explore this protected area, we will address your inquiries regarding the surroundings. At the halfway point, we will reach the Bride's Dress Waterfall and Tamushal, one of the highest points in the staircase mountain range.

After enjoying the views from the lookout point and taking a dip in the waterfall pools, we will have lunch consisting of a main course and a drink. Following our meal, we will return to the starting point.

We will return to your hotel in Tarapoto after a total of 8 hours and conclude our tour.
