At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Tarapoto and head south to Chazuta, where we'll take a guided walking tour.

Chazuta, known as the land of friendship, is home to locals engaged in pottery and agriculture, with main crops including corn, yucca, and cocoa. A delicious chocolate workshop is included, where local women will teach us how one of the tastiest chocolates in Peru is made, with tastings available.

Next, we'll head to Shapaja for lunch, which will consist of a main course and a drink, while enjoying views of the Huallaga River. After lunch, we will visit the Washichay Interpretation Center, a museum to learn about the native and ancestral art of Chazuta. We will conclude our tour at the Plaza de Armas, the main square of Chazuta.

Finally, we will end this 9-hour excursion by dropping you back off at your hotel in Tarapoto.
