Venture into the jungles in the mountains and discover the Alto Mayo Valley on our Rioja & Moyobamba Day Trip. We'll see numerous orchid species and visit the source of the Tioyacu River on this activity.

Rioja & Moyobamba Day Trip

At the agreed time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and set off to Rioja and Moyobamba. During the journey, we'll look out at views of the Alto Mayo Valley's landscapes.

When we arrive in Moyobamba, we'll visit the Orchidarium to admire the flowers and then travel to Rioja, approximately 40 minutes away.

In Rioja, we'll visit the source of the Tioyacu River. We'll spend 2 hours walking in this area, and you will have free time for swimming if desired. A charming wooden bridge will provide an opportunity for photos.

We will return to Moyobamba for lunch, which includes a main course and a drink. Afterward, we'll visit the hot springs of San Mateo, where you'll have about 1 hour of free time to enjoy the waters, known for their healing properties.

The final stop will be at a coffee factory in Moyobamba, where we'll learn about coffee production and taste delicious Peruvian coffee.

Our day trip concludes with a drop-off at your hotel 12 hours after the activity begins.
