Rioja & Moyobamba Day Trip

At the designated time, we'll meet you at your hotel and begin our journey to Rioja and Moyobamba. As we travel, enjoy the breathtaking views of the lush landscapes of Alto Mayo Valley.

Upon reaching Moyobamba, our first stop will be at the Orchidarium, where you'll have the opportunity to appreciate a variety of vibrant orchids. Afterward, we will continue to Rioja, located about 40 minutes away.

In Rioja, our visit will take us to the source of the Tioyacu River. Here, we will spend approximately two hours exploring the beautiful surroundings. If you wish, there will be time for a refreshing swim, and be sure to capture a moment on the picturesque wooden bridge!

After our time in Rioja, we’ll return to Moyobamba for a leisurely lunch that includes a main dish and a beverage. Once satisfied, we will then proceed to the San Mateo hot springs, where you can unwind for about an hour in the mineral-rich waters believed to offer therapeutic benefits.

Concluding our day trip, we will visit a coffee factory in Moyobamba. Here, you will learn about the coffee production process and have the chance to savor a cup of exquisite Peruvian coffee.

Your memorable day will finish as we drop you back at your hotel, approximately 12 hours after we began this enriching experience.
