Kitesurfing Course in Tarifa: What to Expect?

On the first day, you'll meet your instructor at Valdevaqueros Campsite and head down to the beach. Tarifa's location on the Strait of Gibraltar provides optimal conditions for wind sports. The initial session will start on sand, including a theory class before practicing with kites. You will begin with smaller kites and learn essential controls, including take off, landing, and safety systems.

After mastering basic skills, you will practice in the water. The course allows for a personalized progression, starting without the board to familiarize yourself with the equipment and kite handling in wind conditions. Subsequently, you'll learn to surf on the board and manage it effectively.

Once you have developed proficiency, you will be able to kitesurf independently, experiencing the thrill of flying over water, powered by the wind!
