Beginner Diving Class in the Natural Park of the Strait

This beginner diving class in the Natural Park of the Strait allows you to learn the basics of diving while exploring the seabed at the southernmost point of continental Europe. The class begins at the Hotel Tarifa Lances, where participants will meet at the specified time.

The session starts with a theoretical lesson of half an hour covering the use of diving equipment and safety guidelines. Following this, participants will wear wetsuits for their first dive in the hotel pool.

Next, the group will be transported by minibus to the island of Tarifa for the actual diving experience in the Natural Park of the Strait of Gibraltar. This area is suitable for beginner divers due to minimal currents and excellent water visibility.

During the dive, participants will explore depths between 16.5 and 19.5 ft (5 and 6 meters), observing corals, schools of fish, octopuses, and other marine life. The activity concludes after approximately 3.5 hours, returning to the starting point at the hotel.
