Beginner Diving Class in the Natural Park of the Strait

In this beginner diving class in the Natural Park of the Strait, participants will learn the basics of diving while exploring the seabed of the southernmost point of continental Europe. The meeting point is at the Hotel Tarifa Lances.

The class begins with a theoretical lesson of half an hour, covering the use of diving equipment and safety guidelines. After this session, participants will don their wetsuits and take their first dive in the hotel pool.

Next, the group will travel by minibus to the island of Tarifa for the diving experience in the Natural Park of the Strait of Gibraltar. This location is suitable for beginner scuba divers, as it features hardly any currents and very good visibility.

Diving depth will be between 16.5 and 19.5 ft (5 and 6 meters), allowing participants to explore the marine life of the Strait, including corals, schools of fish, and octopuses. The activity concludes after approximately 3.5 hours, returning to the starting point after the dive.
