Beginner Diving Class in the Natural Park of the Strait

In this beginner diving class in the Natural Park of the Strait, participants will learn the basics of diving while exploring the seabed at the southernmost point of continental Europe. The class begins at the Hotel Tarifa Lances.

The session starts with a theoretical lesson of half an hour covering the use of diving equipment and safety guidelines. After acquiring these essential skills, participants will don wetsuits for their first dive in the hotel pool.

Next, a minibus will transport the group to the island of Tarifa, where the diving experience in the Natural Park of the Strait of Gibraltar takes place. This area is suitable for beginner scuba divers due to its minimal currents and excellent visibility.

The dive will occur at a depth of between 16.5 and 19.5 ft (5 and 6 meters), allowing participants to explore the seabed teeming with corals, schools of fish, and octopuses. The experience concludes with a return to the starting point after a total duration of 3.5 hours.

Included

  • Transportation in minibus
