Beginner Diving Class in the Natural Park of the Strait

In this beginner diving class, participants will learn diving basics while exploring the seabed at the southernmost point of continental Europe. The meeting point is at the Hotel Tarifa Lances.

The session begins with a theoretical lesson of half an hour, covering the use of diving equipment and safety guidelines. After this, participants will wear wetsuits and practice in the hotel pool.

Next, a minibus will take the group to the island of Tarifa for the diving experience in the Natural Park of the Strait of Gibraltar. This area is suitable for beginners due to minimal currents and high visibility.

Diving will occur at a depth of between 16.5 and 19.5 ft (5 and 6 meters), allowing exploration of the Strait's marine life, including corals, schools of fish, and octopuses. The activity concludes after a total duration of 3.5 hours upon returning to the starting point.
