Tangier Day Trip from Tarifa

On this day trip to Tangier, we'll take a ferry from Tarifa, Spain to explore one of the captivating cities in the north of Morocco.

Day Trip Details

We will meet at the port of Tarifa an hour before departure. The ferry journey to the port of Tangier lasts 50 minutes. Upon arrival, the guided tour of the modern city begins.

Our first stop will be Cape Espartel, where we can see the confluence of the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Next, we will visit the Caves of Hercules, a site rooted in Greek mythology.

You will have free time for photos or a short camel ride. The excursion continues in the Kasbah, the highest area of the Medina, where we can view the Sultan's Palace and the Strait of Gibraltar.

We will stroll through the Medina, passing by the Mendoubia gardens, the vegetable market, and the Tangier Synagogue, where we will learn about its architecture and the history of the Jewish community in Tangier.

A typical Moroccan lunch will be served, including harira soup, beef kebabs, couscous, green tea, and pastries, accompanied by live traditional music.

After lunch, about 40 minutes will be allocated for shopping. We will meet for the return journey, concluding with a total of 9 hours of exploration.
