Tangier Day Trip from Tarifa

On this excursion to Tangier, we'll take a ferry from Tarifa, Spain to discover one of the most fascinating cities in the north of Morocco.

Description

We'll meet at the port of Tarifa an hour before departure and take a ferry to the port of Tangier Ville, which takes 50 minutes. Upon arrival, we'll begin a sightseeing tour of the modern city.

Our first stop will be the Kasbah, located in the Tangier Medina, where you’ll enjoy stunning views of the historic old town.

Next, we will have a typical Moroccan lunch, featuring dishes such as harira soup, beef kebabs, couscous, tea, and Arab pastry, accompanied by live traditional music.

We'll then explore the Medina, characterized by its narrow streets, before visiting the Mendoubia Garden. We'll conclude this segment by entering the palace to learn about its history.

Finally, we will return to the port of Tangier for the ferry back to Tarifa, marking the end of this 7 to 9-hour day trip.

Itinerary changes

Mendoubia Gardens are closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. If your trip falls on these days, we'll visit the Dar el Dbagh Museum instead.
