If you're in Tarija, take a horseback ride through San Lorenzo while enjoying views of this picturesque town in the province of Méndez.
Horseback Riding in San Lorenzo
At your chosen time, we will pick you up from your hotel to head to the province of Mendez, northwest of Tarija. We will pass through San Lorenzo, the capital known as the home of Don Eustaquio Méndez, a leader of Bolivia's independence.
We will arrive at a local hacienda specializing in the breeding and care of horses. The staff will guide us on a tour of the hacienda, showing the stables and equine training areas. Afterwards, we will attend a demonstration of basic riding techniques, learning how to handle and ride the horses. The pace of the ride allows you to take in the surrounding scenery.
A photographer will capture our moments during the ride, providing you with digital photos as souvenirs. On our way back, we will enjoy a tasting of masitas and alojas de cebada, local cakes accompanied by a fruit drink.
We will return to Tarija, arriving 4-5 hours after pickup.
Pickup
The tour includes pickup from hotels in the center of Tarija. If your accommodation is outside this area, you must go to the meeting point on Bolivar street.
