If you're in Tarija, take a relaxing horseback ride through San Lorenzo while enjoying the views of this picturesque town in the province of Méndez.

Horseback Riding in San Lorenzo

At the time of your choice, we'll pick you up from your hotel to head towards the province of Mendez, northwest of Tarija. Before reaching our destination, we'll pass through the town of San Lorenzo, known for being the home of Don Eustaquio Méndez, an important figure in Bolivia's independence.

We will arrive at a local hacienda specializing in breeding and care of horses. After a welcome, the staff will guide us on a tour of the hacienda to observe the stables and equine training areas. Following this, we will attend a demonstration of basic riding techniques. Once you have learned to ride, we will begin the horseback journey, allowing you to appreciate the scenery at a calm pace.

A photographer will capture moments during the ride, and you'll receive the photos in digital format as a souvenir. On the way back, we will enjoy a tasting of masitas and alojas de cebada, local cakes accompanied by a fruit drink. Finally, we will return to Tarija, arriving 4-5 hours after pickup.
