Horseback Riding in San Lorenzo
At the time of your choice, we'll pick you up from your hotel to head towards the province of Mendez, northwest of Tarija. We will pass through the town of San Lorenzo, known for being the home of Don Eustaquio Méndez, a leader of Bolivia's independence.
We'll arrive at a local hacienda specializing in the breeding and care of horses. After a welcome, staff will guide us on a tour of the hacienda to see the stables and training areas.
We'll then attend a demonstration of the basic techniques of horse riding. Once familiar with handling the horses, we'll begin our ride, enjoying the calm pace while taking in the scenery.
A photographer will capture our experience, and you'll receive the photos in digital format as a souvenir. Afterwards, on the return trip, we'll have a tasting of masitas and alojas de cebada, traditional cakes accompanied by a fruit drink.
Finally, we will return to Tarija, arriving 4-5 hours after pickup.
