Horseback Riding in San Lorenzo

At the time of your choice, we'll pick you up from your hotel to head towards the province of Mendez, northwest of Tarija. Before reaching our destination, we'll pass through the town of San Lorenzo, the capital of the province, known for being the home of Don Eustaquio Méndez, a leader of Bolivia's independence.

We'll arrive at a local hacienda specializing in the breeding and care of horses. After being welcomed, the workers will guide us on a tour of the hacienda to see the stables and equine training areas. We will then attend a demonstration of the basic techniques for riding horses. After learning how to handle and ride, we'll begin our ride, enjoying the calm pace of the horses while taking in the scenery.

During the ride, a photographer will take pictures for us. You'll receive these photos in digital format as a souvenir. On the way back, we'll enjoy a tasting of masitas and alojas de cebada, typical cakes from this area, accompanied by a fruit drink.

Lastly, we'll take the bus back to Tarija, arriving 4-5 hours after pickup.
