Inca Trail of Tajzara Trekking Tour

At 6 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel to head to the central valley of Tarija and reach the Cordillera de Sama Biological Reserve.

During the drive, we'll admire the Sama mountain range landscapes and the Bolivian highlands, passing through picturesque villages and spotting Andean fauna.

Upon arrival, we'll start our trek along the historic Inca Trail connecting Tarija's central valley with the high plateau of Tajzara, situated at 12,139 ft (3,700 meters) above sea level.

We'll cover approximately 15.5 miles (25 km) along steep trails. Halfway through, we will take a break for a picnic lunch including a sandwich, fruit, and water.

After lunch, we'll continue our hike. At the end of the trail, a bus will be waiting to take us back to Tarija, arriving between 2 and 3 pm.

The tour includes pickup from hotels in the center of Tarija. If your accommodation is outside this area, please go to the meeting point on Bolivar street.
