Join us on this trip to Pozuzo, a town founded by German and Austrian settlers in the Peruvian jungle, offering a unique blend of cultures.

What's in store:

Our adventure begins at Tarma's Plaza de Armas, starting our excursion to Pozuzo, a Peruvian village with German influence. Prepare to explore this area in the Peruvian rainforest.

We'll travel in a minibus through Yanagacha Chemillen National Park, providing opportunities to experience the diverse flora and fauna of the Oxapampa jungle. We will encounter the Rayantambo and Yulitunki waterfalls along the way.

Upon arriving in Pozuzo, a guided tour will showcase the town's unique character. Founded in the mid-19th century by German and Austrian settlers, Pozuzo features distinctive architecture with gable roofs.

While strolling through Pozuzo, we will visit the Settlers' Cemetery, the Schaferer Museum, and a replica of the Norton Ship. You will have an hour of free time for lunch at a local restaurant before we start our return journey to Tarma.

This excursion will take approximately 11 hours.
