Join us on this fascinating trip to Pozuzo, a town founded by German and Austrian settlers nestled in the heart of the Peruvian jungle.

What's in store:

Our adventure begins at Tarma's Plaza de Armas at the scheduled time, starting our excursion to Pozuzo—a Peruvian village with a distinct German influence. We'll travel comfortably in a minibus through the Yanagacha Chemillen National Park, allowing for immersion in the diverse flora and fauna of the Oxapampa jungle. Along the way, we'll see the impressive Rayantambo and Yulitunki waterfalls.

Upon arrival in Pozuzo, a guided tour will showcase the town's unique character. Founded in the mid-19th century, Pozuzo displays a distinctive European feel in its architecture and iconic gable roofs. Our exploration includes visits to the Settlers' Cemetery, the Schaferer Museum, and a replica of the Norton Ship.

There will be an hour of free time for lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, we will embark on our return journey to Tarma.

The excursion lasts approximately 11 hours.
