Join us on this fascinating trip to Pozuzo, a town founded by German and Austrian settlers in the Peruvian jungle.

What's in store:

The adventure begins at Tarma's Plaza de Armas, as we embark on our excursion to Pozuzo, a Peruvian village with German influence. We'll travel by minibus through the Yanagacha Chemillen National Park, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the flora and fauna of the Oxapampa jungle. Along the route, we'll see the Rayantambo and Yulitunki waterfalls.

Upon arriving in Pozuzo, a guided tour will showcase the town's character. Founded by German and Austrian settlers in the mid-19th century, Pozuzo has a distinctive European feel in its architecture and gable roofs. We will visit the Settlers' Cemetery, the Schaferer Museum, and a replica of the Norton Ship.

You will have an hour of free time for lunch at a local restaurant before we reconvene for our return journey to Tarma.

The excursion lasts approximately 11 hours.
