Join us for a day trip to Villa Rica and the El Oconal Lagoon, the coffee capital of the Pasco region, featuring a boat ride.

What's in store:

Our adventure begins at Tarma's Plaza de Armas, starting our excursion to Villa Rica and the El Oconal Lagoon.

We will traverse the province of Oxapampa, rich in history influenced by the Campas, Amueshas, and Cashibos cultures, sharing insights into these indigenous communities.

The first stop is Villa Rica, a notable coffee capital. A guided tour of Villa Rica will showcase landmarks like the wooden chapel of Our Lady of the Rosary and the Plaza de Armas.

Before leaving Villa Rica, we will visit a local coffee farm to learn about Peru's coffee production, from cultivation to consumption.

Next, we will head to the El Oconal Lagoon, a wetland rich in plant and wildlife. You'll enjoy stunning landscapes and biodiversity, with opportunities for photos. We will also take a traditional boat ride on the tranquil waters of El Oconal.

To conclude our lagoon experience, we'll have a soothing ichthyotherapy session. On the return to Tarma, we will visit the El León waterfall.

After approximately 14 hours, we will return to the starting point.
