From Tarma, we'll venture into the picturesque Mantaro Valley, exploring locales such as Jauja, Concepción, Huancayo, and San Jerónimo de Tunán.

Description

Meet us at Plaza de Armas in Tarma at the scheduled time. We will embark on our tour of the Mantaro Valley to explore Jauja, Concepción, and Huancayo. The journey includes a stop at the Carhuacatac viewpoint, located 200 meters (658 feet) above sea level, offering spectacular views of Tarma.

Next, we will detour to the picturesque Paca Lagoon. In Jauja, we'll visit key attractions such as the Plaza de Armas, Matriz Church, and the Chapel of Cristo Pobre, inspired by Notre Dame de Paris.

Our journey then proceeds to Concepción, where we will explore the Convent of Santa Rosa de Ocopa, founded in 1725, known for its cultural and artistic significance.

Next, we'll visit Ingenio, where we will explore a trout farm and enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant, savoring regional flavors.

We will then move to San Jerónimo de Tunán, known for gold and silver craftsmanship, where you can observe the filigree technique. Our final stop is Huancayo, where we'll explore the Cathedral, Huanca Identity Park, and Cerrito de la Libertad.

After completing the tour of the Mantaro Valley, we will drop you off at the meeting point, approximately 12 hours later.
