We'll explore several destinations during our tour through the Valley of the Flowers, including Chuchopampa, the Bombon Plateau, Huagapo Cave, and San Pedro de las Cajas. Each of these locations promises a unique experience.

Description

Meet us at Plaza de Armas in Tarma for our tour through the Valley of Flowers. Our journey will commence with a visit to a natural balcony, providing a vantage point for observing the flower crops of Chuchopampa, a renowned attraction in the region. Here, we'll enjoy the scenery adorned with colorful blooms, including wallflowers, pompons, carnations, lilies, and gladiolas.

Then, our exploration will lead us to the Bombón Plateau, significant for ecological importance and ideal for observing vicuñas. We'll proceed through the high plateau of central Peru, stopping at the pre-Inca salt ponds of Cachipozo.

Next, we'll visit San Pedro de las Cajas, known as the birthplace of the region's skilled textile artisans. Here, we can explore the exquisite tapestries crafted in this town, which embody Taramanian culture. Following this, we'll head towards the Huagapo Cave, the deepest cave in South America, where ancient cave paintings can be found.

You'll have 1 hour of free time to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Once refreshed, we'll journey through Acobamba before returning to Tarma, concluding our eight-hour excursion.
