Description

Meet us at Plaza de Armas in Tarma for our tour through the Valley of Flowers. The journey begins with a visit to a natural balcony for a panoramic view of the flower crops of Chuchopampa, featuring colorful blooms such as wallflowers, pompons, carnations, lilies, and gladiolas.

Next, we will explore the Bombón Plateau, important for observing vicuñas and the pre-Inca salt ponds of Cachipozo in the high plateau of central Peru. Following this, we will visit San Pedro de las Cajas, known for its skilled textile artisans, where exquisite tapestries embody Taramanian culture. Our tour continues to the Huagapo Cave, the deepest cave in South America, which houses ancient cave paintings.

You will have 1 hour of free time for lunch at a local restaurant. Once refreshed, we will journey through Acobamba before returning to Tarma, completing our eight-hour excursion.
