Barcelona Day Trip

On this excursion to Barcelona, we'll discover the highlights of Catalonia's capital, including the Sagrada Familia, Park Güell, the Boqueria Market, and the Gothic Quarter.

Description

Between 8 and 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Tarragona for a trip to Barcelona. After an hour and a half drive, we'll start a guided tour. First, we'll visit Passeig de Gràcia to see Gaudí's prominent works: Casa Batlló and La Pedrera or Casa Milá.

Next, we will walk through the Gothic Quarter, visiting the Boqueria Market, the old Jewish quarter, Plaza de San Jaime, and the Cathedral. The walk will lead us to Plaza Colón and Port Vell, the endpoint of Las Ramblas.

Participants will have 1 hour of free time for lunch at a restaurant in the area. After lunch, we will proceed to the Sagrada Familia, where you can explore its stunning interior without a guide.

Another highlight is Park Güell, a vast garden designed by Antonio Gaudí, where you can explore without a guide and at your own pace.

Finally, we'll visit Plaza de España, home to the Venetian Towers, the National Art Museum of Catalonia, and the Fountains of Montjuïc.

We will return to Tarragona, arriving around 6 pm.
