On this excursion to the Congost de Mont-Rebei, we will explore one of the remarkable natural areas of Catalonia and visit the towns of Arbeca and Montblanc.

Congost de Mont-Rebei Excursion

Pickup is from your hotel in Tarragona between 8 am and 9 am. We will travel to the Congost de Mont-Rebei, a gorge that separates the provinces of Huesca and Lleida, notable for lacking roads or power lines. The path along this gorge offers a three-hour exploration, featuring stunning views.

Our next stop will be Arbeca, a village with an ancient castle of the Dukes of Cardona. We will also visit an Iberian archaeological site, providing insight into the life of its inhabitants over 3,000 years ago.

After the archaeological visit, you will have an hour of free time in Arbeca to enjoy a meal at a local restaurant. We will then proceed to the Museum of Les Borges.

Following the museum visit, we will head to Montblanc, known for its extensive walled enclosure. We will walk through its streets and visit the Santa Maria Church, the first Romanesque church in the upper part of the village.

We will return to your hotel in Tarragona, concluding the excursion at approximately 6 pm.
