Tour Overview

At the designated time, we will meet you at your hotel in Tashkent and board a minibus to begin your journey through the capital of Uzbekistan. While en route to our first site, we will discuss the city's illustrious background as a key point along the renowned Silk Road. You’ll find out that its name translates to "city of stone".

Our initial stop will be the Khast Imam complex, a quintessential representation of Tashkent. This site serves as the primary religious hub of the city, featuring numerous mosques, prayer spaces, and educational institutions. Notably, the Khast Imam library houses the oldest Koran in existence!

Following this, we will admire the stunning exterior of the mausoleum of the esteemed Sheikh Zaynudin. After delving into the history of this significant figure, we’ll visit the remarkable Kukeldash Madrasa and the Imam Bukhari Islamic Institute, two key educational landmarks that reflect the city’s heritage.

Next, we will navigate through Tashkent’s streets towards the Chorsus bazaar. Beneath its striking blue dome lies a labyrinth of stalls offering textiles, spices, and various traditional Uzbek goods.

Additionally, we will explore Independence Square, Amir Timur Square, the Museum of Applied Art, and the Tashkent Opera House. Ultimately, we will return you to your hotel, concluding our tour about five and a half hours after our departure.
