Tour Details

At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Tashkent and get on the minibus to start exploring the capital of Uzbekistan. As we head to our first destination, we will discuss the city's important role on the iconic Silk Road. You will learn how its name means "city of stone".

Our first visit is at the Khast Imam complex, the major religious center of the capital, including several mosques, prayer halls, and schools. The Khast Imam library houses the oldest Koran in the world!

Next, we will view the exterior of the mausoleum of Sheikh Zaynudin. After discussing the history of this writer, we will visit the Kukeldash Madrasa and the Imam Bukhari Islamic Institute, significant educational establishments in the city's history.

We will drive through Tashkent to the Chorsus bazaar, where a maze of stalls sells fabrics, spices, and traditional products of Uzbekistan.
