Immerse yourself in the wonders of Central Asia through a private 6-day exploration of Uzbekistan, where you will uncover the highlights of Tashkent, Khiva, Bukhara, and Samarkand.

Tour Overview

Day 1: Tashkent

Your adventure begins at 9 am with a pickup from your hotel, the airport, or the Tashkent train station as we kick off this comprehensive 6-day journey to unveil the key cities of Uzbekistan.

We will start with a guided exploration of Tashkent, experiencing the striking contrasts between the historic and the contemporary areas. Key stops will include Amir Temur Square, the cultural hub of the Alisher Navoi Theatre, the Hast Imam complex, and the notable Kukaldash Madrasa. Our itinerary also features visits to the Orthodox and Catholic churches and the Museum of Applied Arts. After a day rich in culture, we will return to the hotel to rest.

Day 2: Urgench - Khiva

Following an early breakfast, we will depart for Tashkent airport for a 2-hour flight to Urgench. Upon your arrival, a driver will meet you to transfer to Khiva, located 35 kilometers away.

After checking into your accommodation, we will embark on a tour of the UNESCO-listed Itchan-Kala Fortress. Enjoy the stunning architecture of its madrasas, mosques, and palaces, including the vibrant Kalta-Minor minaret and the impressive mausoleum of Pakhlavan Mahmoud. You will spend the night at a hotel in Khiva.

Day 3: Khiva - Bukhara

If your visit occurs on a Tuesday, Friday, or Saturday, we will travel from Khiva to Bukhara by train after breakfast. On other days, we will opt for a car ride. Once we arrive in Bukhara, you will check in to your hotel and enjoy some leisure time.

Day 4: Bukhara

After breakfast, we continue with a panoramic tour of Bukhara, known as the Pillar of Islam. You will visit significant sites such as the mausoleum of Ismail Samani, the founder of the Samanid Empire, the Bolo Hauz Mosque, and the grand fortress of the Arq of Bukhara.

Your journey will also take you through the Poi Kalyan complex, featuring remarkable edifices like the Miri Arab, Ulugbek, and Abdulaziz-Khan madrasas. Additionally, we will visit Lyab-i-Hauz, the social heart of Bukhara, and participate in a traditional Uzbek cooking class before returning to the hotel.

Day 5: Samarkand

On the fifth day, enjoy breakfast before setting off for Samarkand, the second-largest city in Uzbekistan.

The journey will take approximately 4 to 5 hours, with stops to explore the Sitori-i-Mokhi Khosa, the former residence of the Bukhara emir, and a visit to the local pottery artisans in Gijduvan. Finally, we will arrive in Samarkand and check into our hotel.

Day 6: Samarkand - Tashkent

Your last morning will be spent traversing Samarkand. You will explore several centuries of Uzbekistan's history at the mausoleum of Amir Guri, the iconic Registan Square with its triad of madrasas from the 15th and 17th centuries, the Zindah necropolis, and the vast Bibi Khanum Mosque, the largest mosque in Central Asia.

Concluding your visit, we will escort you to the railway station to board the Afrosiyob, the high-speed service back to Tashkent. Once you arrive, a driver will be ready to take you to your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your thorough exploration of Uzbekistan.
