On the day of the activity, we'll meet at Taniwha Place in Tauranga at the scheduled time to begin this kayaking experience. Once we have all the necessary equipment ready, we'll launch the kayaks and start exploring Lake McLaren Falls Park, after enjoying some refreshments.

Our experienced guides will then lead us into the tranquil waters of the enchanting Glowworm Canyon. As we paddle along in complete darkness, we'll see the stunning lights of the glowworms around us.

Throughout this kayaking experience, our expert guides will provide us with interesting facts about the life cycle and characteristics of the New Zealand fungus gnat, the source of the glowworms' luminous effect.
