Description
On the day of the activity, we'll meet at Taniwha Place in Tauranga at the scheduled time to begin this kayaking experience. After gathering all necessary equipment, we'll launch the kayaks and enjoy some refreshments before our adventure.
Our experienced guides will lead us into Glowworm Canyon, where we will paddle in complete darkness, witnessing the glowworms' lights illuminating the area.
Throughout the kayaking experience, our guides will share interesting facts about the life cycle and characteristics of the New Zealand fungus gnat, which causes the glowworms' glow.
After 3 hours, we will conclude our kayaking tour around Lake McLaren Falls Park and return to our starting point.
