Scenic Lake Mclaren Kayak Tour

Enjoy the wonderful calm water of Lake McLaren on this incredible kayaking tour. You'll love this totally peaceful place and you may even spot some birds and other wildlife.

Kayaking Tour

We will meet at 36 Taniwha Place and take a 20-minute vehicle ride from Tauranga to the kayaking launch point. Instructors will provide a safety demonstration and tips for enjoying the activity. Afterward, we will get into our kayaks and start paddling.

This tour involves paddling around a lagoon in Northern New Zealand with views of the Mangapapa Canyon. You will have the opportunity to capture photos of the stunning landscape.

Accompanied by a guide, we will proceed toward the mouth of the lake and enter the canyon, where you will see the narrow walls. Throughout the journey, there will be discussions about the history of the land.

After 3 hours of kayaking, we will return to the starting point in Tauranga to conclude the tour.
