Hiking in the Neusa Reservoir

At the time of your choice, we'll meet at the Refugio del Neusa, located in the Colombian municipality of Tausa. We'll start a hiking route along the Neusa reservoir, where we'll discover its natural environment.

The hike begins with a climb of 500 metres (1640 feet) up a hill. This will be followed by an explanation of the route.

The trail features trees, slopes, rocky and steep paths. During the walk, we will learn about the fauna and flora of this area and pass by farms to see pigs, chickens, and horses. Observation of wildlife may include birds such as hummingbirds and woodpeckers.

The hike concludes with a view of the Neusa reservoir from an altitude of more than 3400 metres (11154 feet).

After an hour and a half, we will finish the hiking route at the starting point.
