Benagil Caves Hike

Do you know the most famous caves in the Algarve? On this hike of the Benagil Caves, we'll discover this unique landmark that has turned into a symbol of nature in the south of Portugal.

Hike Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from the meeting point that you have selected and, from here, we'll make our way along the A-22. After a 1-hour drive, we'll reach the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail. On this trail, awarded by European Best Destinations, we'll embark on a hike around the Benagil caves' surroundings.

Along this 1.5-kilometre (0.93 miles) route that will take us 1.5 hours, we'll enjoy extraordinary scenic views of the Benagil caves. We'll provide answers to questions about the formation and significance of these sea caves.

Our hike will end at Praia da Marinha, where you'll have 1.5 hours of free time to snorkel if the weather allows. You can also re-energise with any food you've brought.

We'll begin our drive back, with a brief stop in Porches for a final photo in front of the Capela da Nossa Senhora da Rocha. Afterwards, we'll return to the original meeting points, completing a total of 5 hours and 45 minutes.
