Benagil Caves Hike

Do you know the most famous caves in the Algarve? On this hike of the Benagil Caves, we'll discover this unique landmark that has turned into a symbol of nature in the south of Portugal.

Hike Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from the meeting point that you have selected and, from here, we'll make our way along the A-22, one of the main roads in the Algarve.

After a 1-hour drive, we'll reach the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail. On this famous trail, we'll embark on an exciting hike around the Benagil caves' surroundings.

Along this 1.5-kilometre (0.93 miles) route that will take us 1.5 hours, we'll enjoy extraordinary scenic views of the Benagil caves. We will provide answers to your questions regarding the caves' formation and their characteristics.

Our hike will end at Praia da Marinha. At this beach, close to the caves, you'll have 1.5 hours of free time to snorkel if the weather conditions are good or eat any food you've brought.

Lastly, we'll begin our drive back. We'll make a brief stop in Porches for a final photo in front of the Capela da Nossa Senhora da Rocha.

From here, we'll return to the original meeting points for goodbyes after 5 hours and 45 minutes.
