Benagil Caves Hike

Do you know the most famous caves in the Algarve? On this hike of the Benagil Caves, we'll discover this unique landmark that has turned into a symbol of nature in the south of Portugal.

Hike Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from the meeting point that you have selected and proceed along the A-22, one of the main roads in the Algarve. The drive lasts approximately 1 hour to reach the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail.

On this renowned trail, recognized by European Best Destinations as one of the best routes in Europe, we'll go on an exciting hike around the Benagil caves' surroundings.

This 1.5-kilometre (0.93 miles) hike will take 1.5 hours, offering scenic views of the Benagil caves. We’ll explain how these sea caves formed and discuss their significance.

The hike concludes at Praia da Marinha. You will have 1.5 hours of free time to snorkel if weather permits and enjoy food you brought.

We'll then drive back, stopping briefly in Porches for a photo opportunity at the Capela da Nossa Senhora da Rocha, before returning to your original meeting points after a total of 5 hours and 45 minutes.
