Benagil Caves Hike

Do you know the most famous caves in the Algarve? On this hike of the Benagil Caves, we'll discover this unique landmark that has turned into a symbol of nature in the south of Portugal.

Hike Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from the meeting point you selected, and from here, we'll travel along the A-22, a main road in the Algarve. The landscapes will charm you.

After a 1-hour drive, we'll reach the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail. This famous trail, recognized by European Best Destinations, offers an exciting hike around the Benagil caves' surroundings.

On this 1.5-kilometre (0.93 miles) route taking 1.5 hours, we'll enjoy scenic views of the Benagil caves. We will answer questions regarding their formation and coloration.

Our hike will conclude at Praia da Marinha. Here, you'll have 1.5 hours of free time to snorkel , weather permitting. You may also eat any food you've brought.

We will begin our drive back, making a brief stop in Porches for a photo at the Capela da Nossa Senhora da Rocha.

We will return to the original meeting points, concluding after a total of 5 hours and 45 minutes.
