Benagil Caves Hike

Do you know the most famous caves in the Algarve? On this hike of the Benagil Caves, we'll discover this unique landmark that has turned into a symbol of nature in the south of Portugal.

Hike Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from the meeting point that you have selected and, from here, we'll make our way along the A-22, one of the main roads in the Algarve. The landscapes in this part of southern Portugal will charm you!

After a 1-hour drive, we'll reach the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail. On this famous trail, awarded by European Best Destinations as one of the best routes on the Old Continent, we'll embark on an exciting hike around the Benagil caves' surroundings.

Along this 1.5-kilometre (0.93 miles) route that will take us 1.5 hours, we'll enjoy extraordinary scenic views of the Benagil caves. We'll provide answers to all your questions regarding the formation and features of these famous sea caves.

Our hike will come to an end at Praia da Marinha. At this beach, you'll have 1.5 hours of free time to snorkel if the weather conditions are good. You'll also be able to eat any food you've brought with you.

Lastly, we'll begin our drive back. Along the journey, we'll make a brief stop in Porches, where you can take a final photo in front of the Capela da Nossa Senhora da Rocha.

From here, we'll return to the original meeting points, where we'll say our goodbyes after a total of 5 hours and 45 minutes.
