Ria Formosa Islands Cruise

When making your reservation, you can choose from three different tour options. All provide an English-speaking guide and have the same starting point: Ria Formosa Avenue in Cabanas de Tavira. The options are as follows:

1-hour tour

For one hour, enjoy a cruise around the Ria Formosa, known as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Portugal. Explore the canals of this natural attraction in the Algarve and stop for 15 minutes on Cabanas Island to stroll along its beaches and observe various bird species.

2-hour tour

This two-hour tour offers a longer boat ride exploring the Ria Formosa Natural Park. Instead of Cabanas, there is a 30-minute stop in the city of Tavira.

4-hour tour

The four-hour tour includes a cruise around Cabanas Island, Tavira Island, and Terra Estreita beach, with a 30-minute swimming stop. Continue sailing through beds of oysters, clams, and cockles. Visit the coastal village of Santa Luzia, known as the "capital of octopus," the church of Nossa Senhora do Mar, and the 17th-century fort of São João da Barra during this comprehensive boat tour.
