Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Rua Gonçalo Velho in Tavira. From there, we'll start a tuk-tuk tour to discover the Portuguese city uniquely. First, we'll see the famous salt mines of Tavira. Then, we'll enter the narrow streets and explore the historic center, including Republic Square and the Church of San Francisco.
We will then visit the Church of Misericordia, noted as the best example of Renaissance architecture in the Algarve. Additionally, we'll view the intact remains of the Castle of Tavira in the parish of Santiago. After an hour of sightseeing, we'll return to the starting point and conclude the tuk-tuk tour.
